The ones I keep returning to, keep gifting, and keep pulling off the shelf when I need to remember something I already knew.


I didn't come to this work with a five-year plan. I came to it because these books cracked something open — one page, one sentence, one uncomfortable truth at a time.

This list isn't ranked. It's grouped the way the unlearning actually happened for me: first the body had to feel safe, then I had to learn to receive support, and only then could I really return to myself. If you're anywhere in that arc, I hope one of these meets you there.
